The Shuster name represents hard work, dedication, and attention to detail, which makes them one of the most unique and sought after builders in Western Pennsylvania. Currently, three generations of Shuster family members work together with one goal, building families their dream home.
Bob and his wife Sally Shuster are the founders of RWS Development and Shuster Homes; they started the company in the early 90's. In the beginning, it was just going to be a small business with building maybe a few houses a year. Bob owned just a dump truck and a small excavator. As time progressed, people loved the new home construction process Shuster offered and after a very short period, building a few homes per year turned into multiple homes per year.
Today, RWS Development and Shuster homes owns a huge assortment of heavy equipment and are one of the biggest land developers in the area. This enables Shuster to not only offer one of the best newly built custom homes but also offers a house with a great back yard in every development.
Bob Shuster's business model is and has always been to keep it simple. He is very direct and you will feel very comfortable having someone with his knowledge and experience building your new home. He prides himself on always staying in contact with every customer. When you call the sales line, he may be the one to answer your call. Not only does the owner interact with the customers, but so do all three of his children. Bob has himself and his family intertwined deeply in the business to insure every customer is treated with respect and integrity.
Mike Shuster, Bob's oldest son, handles the coordination of scheduling the sub-contractors, ordering the materials for your new home and most importantly, scheduling the closing date. Mike is in charge of quality control, insuring your new home is built with the expertise that is promised.
Rob Shuster, Bob's middle son, specializes in land development. He can transform acres of hills into beautiful home sites for future Shuster home owners. Rob has a huge variety of heavy equipment and has his nephews, Bob's grandchildren, Mike and Jonny Shuster working alongside of him. These men put in long hours developing land and coordinating each customer's ground breaking date.
Chrissy Shuster, Bob's youngest, handles the sales side and open houses. Chrissy is one of the first people you meet in the building process and is in charge of making sure all of your questions are answered. Chrissy will also walk you through the process of buying and building a new home with Shuster.
Not only do all 3 children work alongside of Bob Shuster, but so does Rebekah, his grandaughter, and Mike's wife Kim Shuster. These two along with Sally are in charge of bookkeeping, sales, marketing, accounting and making sure all of contractors are paid on time.
